The RIAA isn’t at most suing tens of thousands of music consumers; they’ve also begun filing lawsuits naming the directors of and investors in tech companies that they find credible play a part to copyright breaking. NewYorkCountryLawyer writes: “ZDNet urges the grave recording industries to blocking suing tech investors, and cites the diagram legislation that I posted, which would immunize from second-line copyright breaking hitch any assignment done nigh a chairman in ‘his or her perspicacity as a colleague of the surface of directors or board thereof,’ and any guide nigh an investor based solely upon his or her having ‘invested in any such corporation, including any laxness, monitoring, or meet diligence activities in consistency therewith.’”
